Ingredients

  • ½ cup fruit jam
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 (14.1-ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 8 tablespoons SKIPPY® Natural Creamy Peanut Butter Spread, divided
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon whipping cream
  • Chopped roasted peanuts

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°F.
  2. In small bowl, combine jam and cornstarch until smooth.
  3. Place 2 pie dough circles on lightly floured surface and roll into 2 (11-inch) circles.
  4. Cut edges to create 2 (9-inch) squares.
  5. Cut each square into 3 rectangles.
  6. Whisk egg and brush edges of 3 rectangles with egg.
  7. Spoon heaping tablespoon of jam mixture and 1 tablespoon peanut butter onto center of brushed rectangles.
  8. Top with remaining rectangles.
  9. Use a fork to crimp edges and seal.
  10. Place tarts on parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  11. Bake 15 to 18 min or until golden. Let cool completely.
  12. In medium bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, remaining 2 tablespoons peanut butter and whipping cream until smooth; adding additional tablespoons of whipping cream as needed.
  13. Drizzle over tarts.
  14. Sprinkle with chopped roasted peanuts, if desired.
