- In large bowl, combine puffed rice cereal and oats. Set aside.
- In small saucepan, heat corn syrup and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring mixture to a boil, remove from heat and quickly stir in peanut butter, vanilla extract and salt.
- Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until well coated.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Press chocolate candies into center and cool completely.
Makes about 2 dozen cookies
