Chocolate-Peanut Butter-Banana Bread

  • Ingredients

    1 cup mashed ripened bananas
    ½ cup melted butter
    2 large eggs, lightly beaten
    1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
    1/3 cup SKIPPY® Creamy Peanut Butter, warmed
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    ½ cup dark chocolate morsels
    ½ cup cocoa powder
    ¾ cup sugar
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    ¾ teaspoon baking powder
    ½ teaspoon salt
    Garnish: warm peanut butter

  • Instruction

    1. Heat oven to 350°F.
    2. In large bowl, stir together banana and next 4 ingredients. In separate bowl combine flour and remaining ingredients. Stir flour mixture into banana mixture until blended.
    3. Transfer to a lightly greased 8 x 4 ½ inch loaf pan.  
    4. Bake 45 to 55 minutes, or until a cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack 20 minutes.
    5. Drizzle with warm peanut butter, if desired.
