½ | cup butter, softened |
3 to 4 cups powdered sugar | |

In bowl, beat butter and peanut butter until creamy. Beat in powdered sugar until soft dough forms.
Stir in food coloring in very small amounts until desired color is reached.
Shape mixture into 1¼ -inch balls; flatten slightly. Use toothpick to make grooves in each ball to resemble pumpkin. Press 1 chocolate chip into top of each for stem; place on cookie sheet. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. Store in covered container in refrigerator.
