Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole-grain bread, cut into 4-inch rounds
  • 3 tablespoons SKIPPY® Creamy Peanut Butter Spread
  • Strawberries and blueberries, if desired

Directions

  1. Spread one side of one bread round evenly with 2 tablespoons of peanut butter.
  2. Cover with remaining bread round.
  3. Cut off one-third of sandwich to resemble jellyfish shape.
  4. Place on plate.
  5. Use remaining peanut butter to decorate plate with “tentacles”.
  6. Use strawberries and blueberries to decorate as desired.

  • Cookie Pie
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1/3 cup SKIPPY® Natural Creamy Peanut Butter Spread
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup red, white and blue chocolate covered candy pieces
  • Frosting
  • 1/3 cup SKIPPY® Natural Creamy Peanut Butter Spread
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
  • Red, white and blue sprinkles if desired

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray. In small bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
  2. In large bowl, beat brown sugar, softened butter and peanut butter with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla until blended. Stir in flour mixture until just blended. Spread batter evenly in baking dish. Sprinkle candy on top; press lightly into batter.
  3. Bake 16 to 19 minutes or until center just jiggles slightly and edges are light brown. Cool completely, about 3 hours or until chocolate is set.
  4. In medium bowl, beat frosting ingredients with an electric mixer until light and fluffy; adding more milk if necessary. Pipe or spread frosting on edges of cooled pie. Decorate with sprinkles as desired.
  5. Cut into wedges. Store covered in airtight container at room temperature.

  • 3/4 cup SKIPPY® SUPER CHUNK® Natural Peanut Butter Spread, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated peeled ginger root
  • 2 teaspoons finely grated lime peel
  • 1/3 cup plus 3 tablespoons lime juice, divided
  • 1 pound New York or rib steaks
  • 1/2 cup sliced red onion
  • 2 mangoes, peeled, pitted and sliced
  • 3 cups toasted peanuts
  • 1/4 cup canola or peanut oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Baby romaine lettuce leaves
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. To make marinade, in large bowl, combine 1/2 cup peanut butter spread, the garlic, gingerroot, lime peel and 2/3 cup lime juice; mix well.
  2. Cut steaks on angle into 5 or 6 pieces each. Add to marinade; toss to combine.
  3. Prepare grill for medium-high heat. Grill steak 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until cooked to desired doneness.
  4. Arrange romaine, onion, mangoes and steak on 4 individual serving plates. Sprinkle salads with peanuts.
  5. To make dressing, in small bowl, whisk together remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter spread, the oil, remaining 3 tablespoons lime juice, the honey, salt and pepper. Drizzle evenly over salads.

  • 1 pound beef top round steak, 1 inch thick
  • 1 1/4 cups Italian salad dressing, divided
  • 1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro, divided

  • 1/4 teaspoon hot or mild curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1 large cucumber, peeled, seeded and diced
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped red onion

Directions

  1. Prepare grill. Cut steak into 1/8-inch strips.
  2. To make marinade, in small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup dressing, the brown sugar, 1 tablespoon cilantro and the gingerroot.
  3. In large, shallow nonaluminum baking dish or plastic bag, combine 1/4 cup marinade and the steak; turn to coat.
  4. Cover dish or seal bag; marinate in refrigerator, turning occasionally, 2 hours.
  5. Refrigerate remaining marinade.
  6. Meanwhile, in small bowl, blend together peanut butter, 1/2 cup dressing, the curry powder and cayenne.
  7. Remove steak from marinade; discard marinade.
  8. Thread steak on skewers.
  9. Grill steak, turning once and brushing frequently with refrigerated marinade, 2 minutes or until steak is desired doneness.
  10. Serve with peanut sauce and, if desired, Cucumber Relish.
  11. To make relish, in small bowl, combine cucumber, onion and remaining 1/4 cup dressing and 1 tablespoon cilantro; refrigerate.
