These easy-to-make peanut butter cookies are topped with your favorite chocolate hearts, making them a perfect sweet treat. With a combination of SKIPPY® Creamy Peanut Butter Spread, butter, and sugars, these cookies are sure to bring smiles and joy to your loved ones.
4¾ | cups all-purpose flour |
1 | teaspoon baking soda |
½ | cup SKIPPY® Creamy Peanut Butter Spread |
½ | cup butter |
½ | cup granulated sugar |
½ | cup firmly packed brown sugar |
1 | egg |
1 | teaspoon vanilla extract |
Assorted colored sugars, as desired | |
30 | milk chocolate hearts |
Heat oven to 350°F. In small bowl, combine flour and baking soda.
In large bowl, beat together peanut butter and butter until smooth. Beat in sugars, egg and vanilla until blended. Stir in flour mixture until blended. Shape dough into 30 balls.
Place colored sugars in small bowls. Roll dough balls in colored sugars and place 2-inches apart on parchment lined cookie sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are light brown. Immediately press one chocolate heart in center of cookie. Remove to a wire rack. Cool completely.
