Ingredients

Spicy Peanut Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons SKIPPY® Creamy Peanut Butter Spread No Sugar Added
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon chili oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ¼  cup hot water

Wonton Filling

  • ½ pound ground pork
  • ½ pound shrimp, finely chopped
  • 3 scallions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • ½- inch piece fresh ginger, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
  • ½ tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon white pepper

  • Wonton wrappers
  • Suggested garnish: Sliced green onions, chili oil and chili flakes

Directions

  1. In small bowl, whisk together Spicy Peanut Sauce ingredients. Set aside.
  2. In large bowl, combine Wonton Filling ingredients. Mix in one direction until the filling is combined and streaks appear along the edge of the bowl.
  3. Place a ½ tablespoon of filling in the center of wonton wrapper. Wet two adjacent sides of wrapper with water, then fold over into a triangle and seal, making sure all air escapes from the inside of the wrapper. Wet the two long corners of wonton and connect them together to form a tortellini shape.
  4. Bring water to a simmer in a large saucepan. Cook wontons 3 to 4 minutes or until they float.
  5. Serve wontons with Spicy Peanut Sauce and suggested garnish.
